Introduction!

FRIENDSHIP FORCE OF LAKE HARTWELL

The Friendship Force of Lake Hartwell (FFOLH) has 80 members from both South Carolina and Georgia.  The club was organized in 1994 and has hosted groups from Mexico, Germany, Russia, Japan, New Zealand, Canada, England, South Africa, Indonesia and the United States.  We have also visited all of those countries.  Domestic exchanges have included  North Carolina, Florida, Texas, California, Washington, Louisiana, Montana, Wyoming and Iowa.

For 2008 we had an incoming exchange from Indonesia, we had an incoming from Santa Barbara in June and an outgoing to Cornwall, England in September.

Members are not required to travel or to host in their homes.  Some people join to participate in incoming exchange activities such as special meals, day hosting, “Guess Who’s Coming to Dinner” and boat floats.

In addition to our Incoming and Outgoing Exchanges, members enjoy social functions including holiday parties, covered dish dinners, golf tournaments, picnics and other activities on the lake.
